Against the Blue Jackets. I hope that we won't have too many dull games like this, I can't remember for the date when I last fell asleep during a Nucks game but in the middle of the second period, I was napping a bit. Columbus has caught the rhythm after the early man advantages and we assisted for it (dozen minutes without a shot, what the hell?). Jackets' "Rat line" was so impressive I liked the way these teens pushed us back. Just the Malhotra line was on the ice that time, they made some acceptable plays and Higgins' tip-in was great. We had two shots only in the first while they hit the post twice and had a lot of scoring chances. Schneider was so cool, and if he hadn't stopped Mayorov's penalty shot, we wouldn't have a chance to tie the game. And here, I'm taking the opportunity to tell a few words about the officials. My attention have been on Vinnerborg since he joined to the NHL and I was so satisfied with his whistling on the game (Burrows goalie interference was the only questionable moment). I think that we (Europeans) can be very proud of him. After Cory's tremendous shoulder save, we turned up the heat. In the third we started to play on a higher level (it was still so far for our best) and after Burr's PP we easily seized the lead. It was so funny at the end that we had more scoring chances on empty net than on the full match previously, but I'm trying to forget this 60 minutes with Prospal's wrap-around too.
Playing against the Flyers is hardly ever a fairy tale. Playing against the Flyers on their home opener is always a nightmare. The ceremony before the game was awesome, when the Philly players came onto the ice with that epic music made me shiver. Does anybody know what that music was, I would be so thankful. Nevertheless, we didn't get a single point I enjoyed nearly every minute of the game. Okey, there were some annoying moments like Giroux's goal assisted by Phil. "Plexi-KO" Board and Luongo's huge mistakes but we always have a slow October. I hate his (Luo's) inconsistency, he had some great saves, but JVR's goal was obviously his and he should have stood up from butterfly in Voracek's, I think. But, the speed of the game, the great tic-tac-toes, the Twins patience, Cody's back passes were all made me delirious. We had countless chances, which should be enough to win three games, but they collected an unbelievable 27 blocks, and the goal posts were against us too. We had 3 power-plays in the last 10 minutes, we can't let leave them dead. It was the game of Higgins, Samy, Alberts and Hodgson they did their work perfectly and Weise had some nice moments too. I think, we don't have to be disapponted because the Flyers is one of the best team in the Eastern Conference hand-in-hand with Buffalo. I would love a Flyers-Canucks Cup Final anyway. And that Couturier-guy is sensational, Giroux either. All in all, this match was a good fun.
But my happiness was ephemeral, moreover, I'm totally fed up now with everything. I hate Detroit! I hate all the crossbars in the league, hate the buzzer, the referees, too but the most annoying is our scoring, more specifically our lack of scoring. Why cannot we score in key positions? In the second period in order Bieksa, Burrows and Weise had a breakaway while the Red Wings scored twice. They sized their opportunity, we couldn't. Howard was good but Schneider was better, therefore not the goaltending was the difference. We were blanked because our forwards couldn't put the puck home in any situations. Sedins had chances, CoHo was beaten by the buzzer, Edler has broken 3 sticks, Burrows had a wide open net and still not on the board. The only sweet moment was Abdelkader's goal for me. I know it's so contoversial but Bertuzzi assisted that game winner, and he didn't celebrate it. Todd has never celebrated when his team scored against us. I love this boy, and I'm praying to see him in Canucks jersey once again. Just for one year before his retirement. Dreams... In regard with the referees, the too many man penalty in the first was grossly questionable, MadMax didn't fight so he would have got only a minor penalty for roughing, and Ballard's hip-check was clean. 7 minutes against Detroit are far too many. And lastly, I know that Hockeytown is nearly in East but back-to-back away games from each Conference with these things above is a bit bothersome. Hope to see Oreo next game. And I miss Kes in front of the crease so much.
Forgetting the Wings, I was excited in many reasons before watching the game against Edmonton. Firstly, can we open the scoring in a game? Then, AV will give Schneider back-to-back games or won't. Does he change linemates to improve our chemistry? And last but not least, I wanted to see the new first overall pick. The answers are yes, no, yes, OMG. I must start from the back 'cause I'm fully green with envy. This Kid line can't exist. Three shamelessly young guys showed an extraterrestrial hockey, I couldn't believe what I saw. I love my team, and I believe in our prospects but let see the truth. We have a brilliant organization, loyal players, good talents but this is totally different, something extraordinaire. Thirteen own drafted players in their 23-man-roster with eight first rounders, it's enviable, I can't deny it. The Eberle-Nugent-Hopkins-Hall line skated like three Sedins, I loved all moves they did. I don't care about hype, the non-existent hat-trick, caps on the ice during the play, or anything. I've just got what I wanted. A truely Canadian derby with a victory. I can't wait for the next game against the Oils. Oh yes, some words about us. Salo's shots are amazing, the older he is, the better. Luongo was more than ok, I was satisfied with our second line with Higger, and I won't criticise Sturm until Kesler comes back. He (Sturm) is a good patronant of CoHo. Manny is great in faceoffs (as usual) and I'm curious to see against Richars next time.
Last time, I recorded a slice of my Northwest Divison prediction, and now I'm explaining why the other four teams won't reach any playoff spots.
I think Calgary has the biggest chance for the post-season, even tough its flabby roster. As the quote says "You can win the battle by forwards, but the war only by the defence". The Reds follow exactly the same. They have a self-confident and highly-motivated goalie tandem with tough D-pairs. Kipper is obviously a star goalie who can win matches day after day alone, and the almost homogenous Canadian blue line will cause headache for every coach. Stay-at-home defencemen like Sarich, Hannan and Butler with Babchuk, Jay-Bo and Giordano are able to force down their GA under 200 again. If yes,they will reach the playoff in a negative goals ratio, with the help of SOs which they had the most last season and so this year. If not, they'll play on the golf court during the whole spring. In the offence, Flames don't own a 30 goal scorer except Iggy-pop, maybe Bourque can break this mark out. I cross my fingers for them because of Mo.
The Avs won't be an object, they have a quite young and promising team with a slightly bright future with Duchene, Galiardi, Landeskog and Olver with the two suberb "A"s of them. But it's a shame what Sherman wants with this ridiculous defence. Varlamov is a good goalie but he won't stand a full sesaon with 0.960 saves percentage, we all know that only TT can do that. They are my top favourite for the first overall in 2012 even though their remarkable season start. A 4-game winning streak won't be enough to change my mind likewise last season when they had a good start and finished on the 29th-place.
The Wild is a dark horse for me, I cannot predict beforehand, if they have a good or awful sesaon. I think the Heatley and Seto trades were extraordinarily sensational for Minnesota, but they won't be able to step over their shadows. They have everything: leaders who are not vulnerable (Heater and Koivu), huge talents (Latendresse and Seto), power forward (Clutterbuck), league-leading blocker (Zanon) an acceptable D-line and two reliable goalies. However, I miss the unity and heat from this the team (the same as Ottawa in East). I would be so surprised, if they were close to the playoff.
And last but not least, the Oilers. This re-building they have been doing is awesome. It seems me the same like Pittsburgh and Chicago had done before, staying some years at the bottom and both have a Stanley now. Eberle, Hall, Linus, Paajarvi, Nugent-Hopkins are all expected future stars with countless talent. It won't be an Oils' year yet, and I'm not visioning a second Gretzky era but this team with a few new prospects and clever trades might be our biggest opponent in the divison. I don't mind it, I'd love to see live-or-die Canadian battles. Expected wins can only cause disappointment.
Ehrhoff? He is Chri$tian Ehrhoff. :) Buffalo plays very offensive hockey which fits Ehrhoff's style, so in my opinion he can bring the same numbers this year.
Életvitelszerűen követem több mint 10 éve a csapatot, ha "szakmailag" leszólnak nem érdekel. :)
Viszont az angol kényes kérdés, elvileg perfektnek kéne lennem, de mióta kikerültem a fősuliról csak apad a tudásom :( És rettentően frusztrál...

Mivel az utóbbi években rettentő mértékben esik vissza az angol tudásom (nem röhögni, sajnos igenis folyománya ez a munkámnak) ezért úgy gondoltam önfejlesztésbe kezdek, úgyhogy a meccseinkről angolul írok szösszeneteket, feldobom a Nucks fórumra, ott esetleg kijavítanak, én meg tanulok belőle.. És akkor már miért ne osszam meg veletek is. Egészségetekre.
I can't express how much I waited for the season. I couldn't forget the disappointing loss of the Stanley Cup Final, but this is a new year now with new hopes. I predict an easy division title, and I can imagine to win the conference again, but only because we have a very weak Divison. In my opinion, we will end the season at the Conference Final, thank God my predictions are hardly ever right. Our team is not weaker than last year's but the second line is still soft. I extremely believe and trust in Gillis and AV but I have no idea why we needed this last minute Weise-some guy. We have Sweatt, Bitz and especially Oreo who should have a spot in line more than No.32. We'll see.
We have the league-best D tandems with Hami-Bieksa, Edler-Salo, Ballard-Tanev. I think Tanev can fill the 6th place spot constantly, and we won't change any defencemen til the trade deadline except injuries, he (Tanev) is so talented and I loved his coolness and precision last year. I expect a lot from Ballard I'm sure he will work hard to change our mind, and he will reach it. I don't even miss Chri$tian Ehrhoff. The Twins will collect their constant 190-210 points, while Burr have 35 goals again. Our second line without Kes is not a scoring line. Sturm is not a second liner especially in a Cup contender, and Samy is unfortunately over his zenith. We have the greatest and the most loveable gritty forwards in our 3rd line with Hans, MM and Higger. MadMax as well, he is my personal favourite locker-room guy. I dunno what to do with CoHo if Kes will be back. We have Hank, Kes, MM as top 10 faceoffers in the league and Hodgson would be a fault as a 4th line center. I have absolutaley no idea.
About the season opener. It was strange to see CoHo in No.9 and it made me laugh to see Sturm in 15, it was Glass' jersey and he played exactly the same nothing. Hodgson was invisible as the whole second line, although he could win the match only one and a half minute remaining. The first period was awful, as if our players remained lethargical after the last official game in Rogers. Just the last five minutes was acceptable, after MadMax' fluke goal. It was funny to see Fleury's Luongo style "how to get a goal from the edge through the 5th hole". When Cooke scored his second goal, I couldn't be angry, anytime I can see his name and SH, I remember for the Conference Quarter-Final against Calgary with a huge smile on my face. Good old times. But let's back to the game. From the second half of the match we highly dominated, had tons of scoring chances, but Fleury was so impressive. I'm satisfied with our PPs, I think guys did their best, and made good passes and shoots, but MAF stopped all of them. The third period was awesome, we showed all of our strength, speed and endurance. Sedin's tying goal was heart-warming and I was sure that we will win in regular. From the Pens, only Letang and Neal had a chance but they could secure 3-3. The OT was fast and uneventful, and the SO was also disapponting because of Luongo (and I don't agree with Samy is being choiced). He (Lou) is not enough self-confident in sharp situations. Okey, I remember for the 7th match OT against Chicago last year, and I love him, but that is the truth. He won a lot of games for us, and I appreciate him, but... It's like somebody says that Burr is not a first liner. We have never had an agreement. In 2010/11 we started with a SO loss against LA, it can be a sligtly good omen.
Csapat:
Azt hogy egyértelmű fölénnyel (legalább 10 ponttal) nyerjük a csoportunkat. Ez nem lehet kihívás, még egyelőre idén sincs igazán erős csapat a divíziónkban.
Nem az erőnk miatt, hanem a csoportunk gyengesége miatt esélyünk van a konferencia győzelemre is, úgyhogy ebből a szempontból is ismétlést várok.
A playoff nem kérdés, de szerintem a kupára idén nem lesz esélyünk (ne legyen igazam). Konferenciadöntőben elvérzünk.
Egyénileg:
Hank-Daniel tandem hozza a már megszokott 100 körüli pontot, kicsit felette vagy kicsit alatta 90-110
Burr megmutatta hogy igazi első soros, bármennyire is underrated, pont/meccs 35 gól
CoHo Kesler visszatéréséig megmutathatja miért dédelgetett, óvott, védett gyémánt, játékban nagy dolgokat várok tőle, pontban nem, mert nincsenek megfelelő társai, gyenge a második sorunk Kesler visszajöveteléig 0.25g 0.5a /GP és sok lövés
Samy szerintem ki fog kerülni 5-10 meccs után a második sorból, már tavaly is lassú volt, az évekkel meg nem gyorsul senki max 30p
Sturm nem második soros ember, kényszer szülte oda, ha Kesler visszatér és marad a másodikban akkor alulról 30 pont
Hans a közönségkedvenc, career high season minden fontos mutatóban (G,A,PTS,Hits,PIM,3/-) ja és 2-3 SHG :)
Higger idővel Samyt váltja majd a másodikban, a 40 pontot sem tartom elérhetetlennek nála
MM marad a régi, faceoff win, faceoff win, faceoff win
Weise szerintem csak átutazóban van, Raymond visszatértével nem is látjuk majd idén
Volpatti meg Oreoval fog cserélődni, de utóbbit szívesebben látnám
MadMax a másik imádott ember, úgy gondolom ő is kiemelkedő szezont fog nyújtani, szívember akinek a tudása megsokszorozódik a támogatással, merészen 10g+20a
Hami-Bieksa tandem, ugyanazt várom mint tavaly, kiemelkedő játékot, nyugalmat hátul, sok-sok pontot
Ballard szerintem túlteszi magát a tavalyi éven és ha tündökölni nem is fog de megbízható jó játék és +20 lesz belőle
Salo brutális lövéseit mindig szerettem, ez az éve még jó lesz, ha nem sérül meg
Edler a legjobb védőnk, figyeljétek meg akár 15 gólt is vághat 50 pontra taksálom
Tanev a harmadik közönségkedvenc, tavaly méltattam is eleget, szerintem kitúrja véglegesen Romeot és Albertset, benne megvan a rég keresett hatodik védő
Luongo 60 meccs körül lesz 8SO 92%
Cory viszi a többit 15W 2SO 92,5% megmutatja miért lesz jövőre elsőszámú. Máshol
Kes és Raymond attól függ mikor és milyen állapotban térhet vissza, addig nem beszélek róluk.
Mobilnettel meg sem próbálom a streamet, de ha már felébredtem legalább a 1040-en hallgatom.
Cooke, hogy szerettem amikor nálunk játszott, amint megláttam hogy SHG egyből beugrott Jovo kiállítása a Calgary elleni hetedik meccsen, a hideg kirázott. :)
Rá akkor sem tudnék haragudni ha az ő két gólja miatt kapunk ki ma a Penstől.
Weise Oreo helyett egyszerűen megdöbbentő, de 5 perc játék is elég volt neki +1-re :) MadMax scored wohooooo. Nagy közönségkedvenc a csávó itthon és kint is, nem véletlenül.
Hát nekem valszeg a tavalyi menetrend marad, alapszakaszban nincs élő meccsnézés, hétvégente leszedem (köszi dustman) és ott gyorsban 2-3-4-et együltő helyemben. Úgyhogy itt csak szombat vasárnap láttok majd, tavaly már sikerült leszokni az eredmény nézegetésről :)

Letöltöttem a meccseket, és hagytam is fent, hogy visszatölthessék, de általában 0.4-0.6 fölé sehogyan sem akart menni.
A nagy részénél érthető mert csak hétvégén vagyok otthon ahol van olyan sebességű net és egy hétfői meccs szombaton már senkinek sem kell :)
A Lokomotiv visszalépett az indulástól. Nem tudom jó döntés-e.
Ha most kölcsönjátékosokkal játszanak akkor idén gyászolnak és jövőre "tiszta lappal" indulnak. Így egy évig megy a csendes gyász és jövőre is csak a szomorúság fogja betölteni a stadiont.

A Muelleres cikkben azt írjátok, hogy Scatchard a Vancouver támadójaként vonult vissza. Vagy én maradtam le valamiről vagy ez téves. Mi draftoltuk és 2 éve campbe is hívtuk de a Blues volt az utolsó klubja és mint free agent jelentette be a visszavonulását.
