Gallant said he didn't know whether Scottie Upshall (ankle) or Aleksander Barkov (hand) would travel with the team to St. Louis on Sunday afternoon.
If they don't, he said, they would probably meet the team in Detroit for Wednesday's practice.

George Parros announced his retirement today from the National Hockey League after playing nine NHL seasons.
Parros played for five NHL teams, Los Angeles, Colorado, Anaheim, Florida and Montreal, during his career. He played in 474 regular season games, scoring 18 goals and adding 18 assists for 36 points, along with 1,092 penalty minutes.
"It’s been an honor to play in the greatest league in the world. Thanks to the organizations I've had the good fortune to play for, especially to the Samueli and Molson families,” said George Parros. “I've had the most amazing support from all of the fans who have supported my many endeavors throughout my career, for that I am eternally grateful. A final thank you to my parents Jim and Lynne, my wife Tiffany and my children who have made this dream of mine a reality.”

Center Dave Bolland, one of the Florida Panthers’ most significant free-agent acquisitions of the summer, could make his return to the lineup Saturday night against the Buffalo Sabres.
Coach Gerard Gallant said Bolland, who hasn’t played since Oct. 17 because of a lower-body injury, was a game-time decision for the matchup at BB&T Center.
“He’s played [four] games for us this year and that’s not enough,” Gallant said. “We want him healthy and playing the way he can play. It might take a little while because he’s missed so much time, but he’s a character guy that’s a leader and competitor and he’s a bit of a dirty player, too. You like that.
