Olvasgatva a cseh oldalakat már vagy egy órája, sajnos szinte biztosra vehető, hogy Hudler Oroszországban folytatja. A nyilatkozataiból az jön le, hogy csalódott, s azt mondja, nincs helye a csapatban. Szvsz az bántja, hogy hátrébb van a rangsorban, mint ahogy azt ő szeretné. Gondolok itt pl a szerződéshosszabításról való egyezkedésekre is - ő maradt ugye utoljára. Ahogy pedig írtam, ha NHL, akkor meg csak Detroitban akar játszani, s ezért is nem kért cserét. Aztán jött a Dynamo az ajánlatával, ő meg persze elfogadta.
Így viszont gáz van, mert hozzá hasonló kalibert nem fogunk tudni hozni UFAról. Fogalmam sincs, hogy leszünk meg így elöl...

Red Wings general manager Ken Holland said there's a real possibility that forward Jiri Hudler will play in Russia next season if he accepts an offer from Moscow Dynamo of the Kontinental Hockey League.
Reports out of the Czech Republic indicate Hudler has signed a two-year deal with Dynamo. There is some uncertainty, however, if this is his just his Plan B if he is not satisfied with whatever deal he gets from the Wings.
"It's a real possibility he's going to take this (Russian) offer,'' Holland said. "He'd be taking a lot less money to stay in the NHL.''
What's confusing is that Hudler filed for arbitration on Sunday, indicating a strong desire to get a deal done with Detroit.
Holland said he not yet heard back from Hudler's North American agent, Petr Svoboda, but that if reports that Hudler had signed the Russian deal are true he would "go on the assumption that he's gone.''
Holland said Svoboda told him on Monday of the Russian offer. Holland and coach Mike Babcock spoke with Hudler on Tuesday. Holland said Hudler gave him no indication about what he was going to do.
The Wings have a long-term offer on the table to Hudler, who earned $1.15 million last season. Svoboda told Holland the Wings' offer was a good one. But it can't come close to matching Dynamo's offer, which is worth significantly more than the $2 million a year TSN is reporting. Plus, it's tax-free and heavily front-loaded.
Hudler apparently is torn and confused. He wants to stay in Detroit, but the Russian offer is a lot of money to turn down.
"I'm assuming as recently as Sunday Jiri thought he was coming back to Detroit,'' Holland said. "That's why he filed for arbitration.''
If Hudler is gone, Holland said he'll have a little cap space -- about $1.5 million, depending on whom they elect to keep on the roster -- to sign a free-agent forward, but that he won't rush into anything.

Most meg azt írják, hogy 775k majd pedig 825k. Ettől még a lényeg ugyanaz, jó deal.
"We like his hockey sense, his ability to protect the puck in the offensive zone," Red Wings general manager Ken Holland said. "He's got a scoring touch and he goes to the hard areas of the ice.
"He just needs to adjust to the pace of the game. His speed is average, but we can put Ville with different people. He can play on a skilled line or chip in offense on the third line."
Holland said Leino, 25, has a chance to play on the second line and could help the second power-play unit.

The Toronto Maple Leafs wasted no time in signing Nazem Kadri.
The club announced on Monday that they signed the 18-year old to a three-year Entry Level contract. The Leafs selected Kadri with the seventh overall pick in this year's NHL Entry Draft.

Szerintem nem jut el addig, Holland aláíratja. Sheppard (1995-ben volt) óta nem jutott el egyik játékosunk sem az arbitrátorig.

Detroit Red Wings forward Jiri Hudler filed for salary arbitration by Sunday's deadline, indicating his desire to remain with the club.
This precludes the restricted free agent from receiving an offer sheet from another team.
The Red Wings and Hudler will continue negotiations in hopes of getting a long-term deal done, thus avoiding the arbitration hearing. Hearings will be held in Toronto from July 20 to Aug. 4.

Lidströmből csak egy van. Ericsson ügyes, már most nagyon jó, s még bőven fejlődőképes. Sokat kell még tanulnia, de szvsz top2 D lesz belőle.

Hudlert és Leinot be kell húzni előre és akkor jó lesz ez - meg talán Downey is maradhatna, de kizárólag two-way-jel. Ahogy Mac is írta, Hossa 40 gólját nem fogjuk tudni pótolni, plusz így megint nagyobb teher fog hárulni Zetterbergre és Datsyukra (+ most már Franzenre és szvsz Flipperre is), ami a jégidőt illeti. A tavalyi átlag 19 perc per meccs helyett ismét 20-21 percet lesznek jégen. Sokkal megterhelőbb lesz. Sammy személyében ráadásul egy nagydarab, jól védekező szélsőt veszítünk el. Hiányozni fog, de megoldjuk. Jön Helm és szerintem ebben a szituban Abdelkader is sanszos. Bízzunk benne, hogy Holmström is kipiheni magát, s jövőre megint egy 25+ gólos szezont fogunk tőle látni, szükség lesz rá. Emellett a védelem is sokat fog számítani, nem engedhetjük meg magunknak a meccsenkénti (átlag) 3 kapott gólt. Egyébként e téren jól állunk, s ha Lilja felépül, akkor szerintem Meech menni fog.

Adam Almqvist has a skill the Detroit Red Wings covet. Not only does he have it, but from what they've seen, it's off the charts.
"Hockey sense," said Red Wings director of European scouting Hakan Andersson, who scouted Almqvist heavily. "Great hockey sense. If it all came down to hockey sense, he probably would have been a first-round pick.
"The hockey sense is something else. It's as good as I've seen in many years."
