"The National Football League is close to a deal that will bring two regular season games to the United Kingdom in 2010, Ian Dovaston of Sky News reports.

In addition to the annual game at Wembley Stadium, the NFL could play a game at Murrayfield Stadium (cap. 67,500) in Edinburgh, Scotland, which was one of the home stadiums for the Scottish Claymores of the now defunct World League/NFL Europe, or at Millenium Stadium (cap. 74,500) in Cardiff, Wales.

Twickenham Stadium (cap. 82,00), located in the London suburb of Richmond upon Thames, is also under consideration.

This morning, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said that the NFL will not play a Super Bowl in the U.K. until an NFL team is in place overseas."
