I can't stop to mention my thoughts of rumours I've read about these days. I think several fans (hope not to hurt anybody) lost their sense of reality. Let me see firstly inside the team. Luongo, Schneider, Ballard, Raymond, Booth, and CoHo were the most popular in these threads. Just see the facts without emotions. Luongo has a life-long NTC contract with a 5,33M/year cap hit which is unpayable for any team he wouldn't refuse immediately. Schneider is still a backup goalie whose value is increasing fast so Gillis will wait to decide about his fate during the trade deadline. Ballard can be in a minor (for a 3rd or lower draft pick) cap-saving trade before a huge one or can be sold out only in a pack. Raymond hasn't got a value on the market, without knowing how he can play after his serious injury. Booth is a new-comer and fits in our second line while CoHo's trading would be a big mistake because he worths a lot more than we could gain for him. Rumours relate us with Ryan, Carle, Ohlund, Lecav, and Turris in which I can hardly ever believe. Ryan and Carle would be great but who wants to trade Kesler, Hamhuis or Edler for them? I'm sure nobody but you should know that they are on the same price. Lecavalier will be traded from Tampa Bay when Crosby moves to Philly and Ohlund has an awful contract. He has got the same type like Ballard's in ours even if I'd love to see him in Canucks jersey again it has to be seen that Keith is better now. Turris would have been an oportunity only before the Booth trade. To sum up, I think we won't have any line-up changes during the trade deadline or there will be a major trade with two or three players with draft picks which will be painful for dreamers. But in my opinion the first alternative is the reality.

We've just finished our very strong Movember. We had 13 games with 9-4-0 (8-2-0 in last 10) which is league-second behind the most hatred Boston Bruins but we only played four times at home and has a five straight winning-streak with our backup goalie in the net, so nobody can be dissatisfied now. Against the Jacks we had a lot of chances and they had too, there were 82 shots alltogether, and with Sanford's and Schneidi's outstanding performance, Kesler's great runs, Johansen's effort (he is a BC native and there were 200 supporting friends amongst the rows) it seemed like an All-Star game for me with tremendous hits on the ice. I don't know the exact stats but I think there were about 30+ blocked and nearly 20 missed shots which are huge amounts too. And the referees did their jobs as they will in Ottawa, they didn't make many calls (clear offsides and obvious penalties) but who cares, two more points are in the bag. I wasn't surprised that Cory became the first star of the game, he had some unbelievable saves, now he has been playing on his career-best. Kesler is awesome too and with Booth they have a great chemistry. The Sedins' line brings the patience, Kesler's shows danger in every shift, the fourth is a typical gritty line, I"ve been only missisng the speed of CoHo's since some matches. I hope that AV can celebrate his 250th win against Nashville we'll see.
