With a new general manager and soon-to-be head coach now in the fold, the Tampa Bay Lightning is now focused on improving its product on the ice.

Bolts GM Steve Yzerman appears to be interested in bolstering his goaltending position, the Ottawa Sun reports.

According to the paper, the Lightning is interested in acquiring one of Montreal's two goalies, Carey Price or Jaroslav Halak.

The Canadiens almost traded Price to Tampa Bay last year in a package deal for Vincent Lecavalier, but the deal was nixed after ownership refused to sign off on the move.

The Sun indicates it is unlikely Lecavalier will waive his no-movement clause.

Several reports suggest the Habs will look to move Price or Halak, both pending restricted free agents, this off-season.
