Az elhangzottakat alátámasztandó (egy érintett véleménye):
Detroit Red Wings goaltender Chris Osgood has a theory centred on the Calgary Flames.
No team that has played the Flames in the playoffs has emerged out of the Western Conference in recent years.
"Calgary just wears you out, even if you beat them," Osgood said. "It shows up in the later rounds."
In 2004, the Flames reached the Stanley Cup finals themselves.
In 2006, Anaheim eliminated Calgary, but fell in the conference final to Edmonton. Last year, the Wings defeated the Flames, but lost in the conference final to Anaheim.
This year, it took the Sharks seven games to get past Calgary in the opening round, but they were eliminated by the Dallas Stars. |
