– Coach Randy Carlyle jumbled the lines up Sunday in their loss to Phoenix and it appears he’ll stick with some of the changes as the recalled Patrick Maroon skated on the top line with Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry while Bobby Ryan was on the second line with Saku Koivu and Teemu Selanne.
While he wouldn’t say it specifically, Carlyle was sending a strong signal that the 6-foot-3, 230-pound Maroon could make his NHL debut Tuesday against the Chicago Blackhawks.
“I would just make this statement,” Carlyle said. ”We usually don’t bring a player up and not play him. Now is it tomorrow night? Well, maybe. He will see some action on the road trip.”
