I honestly feel like this is one of worst time to be a Ducks fan in our history.
-The Kings are on their way to winning a Stanley Cup.
-We are losing our small fan base to the Kings because of poor marketing efforts, a lackluster team over the last 5 years that hasn't been an exciting product to watch, no major free agent signings, outside of Fowler a really weak drafting done by management.
-The Kings go out and draft really well, aren't afraid to make big trades and it is clearly paying off and they didn't try and "rebuild on the fly". They have been working on this team for the past 3-5 years and now they are setting up to be a powerhouse in the NHL for the next few years.

And where are the Ducks?
-We have a GM who is scared to make big trades and continuously tries to sign players that other teams don't want and what Bargain Bob doesn't realize is that by doing these moves it actually cost the team more in the long run. He ends up going after 2 bottom 6 players for $1.5 million each instead of paying $4-5 million for a solid top 6 line player.
-A GM who trades valuable assets to acquire players that we could have signed in free agency.
-Our management and owners allow our top prospect to leave and we have lost our 2 best dman prospects outside of Fowler in under two seasons. Excuses aside it is not good asset management no matter how you want to spin it.
-This team wasn't going to make the playoffs and we literally did not trade away a single asset at the deadline. So what if we go on small run that doesn't mean you can't trade guys like Lydman, Blake, Hagman, Brookbank, etc. and we could have easily gotten a few top 100 picks that could have been huge for us to use to potentially get another pick in the 1st round or move up into the top 5 in the draft and make sure we get one of the players that we want.
-We have an owner and management who continue to tell us that we won't spend over a certain amount and that they won't "overpay" for free agents A.K.A we are fine with mediocrity and clearly the owner is focused on making his arena pretty and attracting a NBA franchise.

To me, this has been the worst time to be a Ducks fan and it seems like we have a pretty bleak future ahead of us unless something changes bigtime and that change has to happen NOW and Samueli needs to start now by firing Bob Murray, retooling our marketing staff, completely upgrade our scouting department and SPENDING MONEY on his team.
