Calder to Ducks?

Sounds like Kyle Calder may be signing in Anaheim.

While attending a work-out yesterday in Saskatoon, I had the opportunity to speak to a number of NHL players who are around here during the off-season. I was complementing one of them on his new gear and made a joke about Calder (who was skating with them) was still wearing all of his Kings stuff on the ice. He told me from what he knows Calder will likely be signing with the Ducks soon.

Brayden Schenn was one of the guys there, including his brother Luke, Colby Armstrong, Riley Armstrong, Calder, Sheldon Brookbank and a bunch of WHLers.

Had the opportunity to talk with Brayden for a few minutes and ask him how development camp went. He said that he loved LA and that there were some really skilled players there. Then just talked about his World Junior Camp starting today which runs for 5 days. Teubert and Martin Jones are also attending. From looking at the list of goalies invited I would say all three have a good chance to make the team.
