Upon assigning Ryan to the minor leagues Oct. 3, General Manager Brian Burke had said the Ducks would “try to find a way to bring him back if he’s dominating at that (AHL) level,” with the second choice being “to find him another organization.”
“He’s keeping his end of the bargain,” Burke said Friday. “We haven’t given him a timeframe. If he continues to dominate and we can clear cap space to give him a shot, we’re going to. If we can’t, he has to stay there.
“He knows that we try to do the right thing for our players, and at some point if we can’t give him a shot, then we would consider moving him, but we’re not at that point. We’re not even close to that point.”
Remélem is, hogy nem fog odáig fajulni a dolog, hogy Burke-nek el kelljen cserélnie Ryant... nagyon nem örülnék neki.
