LOS ANGELES TIMES: reports Teemu Selanne's final decision about a possible return to the Anaheim Ducks this season could come in about two weeks. Selanne said the only reason he hasn't retired is he believes the Ducks has what it takes to repeat as Stanley Cup champions and has to decide if he wants to be a part of it. Selanne also laughingly dismissed rumours that had him planning to play in Sweden this season.
Spector's Note: We can also rule out those rumours of him signing with St. Louis to reunite with Paul Kariya, with the Montreal Canadiens to play with Saku Koivu or with the Philadelphia Flyers if Peter Forsberg decides not to return. It's Anaheim or nothing.
