Ducks GM Bob Murray didn’t condone the incident, saying that his player “crossed the line.” But Murray had a cryptic chuckle when asked about Quenneville’s postgame reaction and comments.
“I played in Chicago for a long time,” Murray said. “I live in the city of Chicago. It used to be a black-and-blue town. We didn’t have whiners. I strongly suggest Joel worries about his goaltending and stops trying to run the National Hockey League.”
